Girls Eating Girls is a digital & free to print NSFW charity zine centering on WLW relationships in Dungeon Meshi. All proceeds will go to Khartoum Kitchen Aid, Goma Actif, and Gaza Municipality Project to help provide food and aid to the citizens of the Democratic Republic of Congo, Sudan, and Gaza. This project is fanmade and has no official ties to Dungeon Meshi or Ryoko Kui.

What are the specs?
For art, images must be A5 size. For writing, there is a 3k word limit. Additional information will be provided to contributors.
How many contributors are you looking for?
The final numbers are yet to be decided but at least 20-30 artists and 5-7 writers.
Will guests be invited?
At the moment, there are no plans to invite guests.
Do all pieces need to be NSFW?
No, contributors are free to do SFW if they wish.
Can only WLW apply?
No, your personal identity will not play a factor in your consideration. Anyone can apply so long as they are respectful.
What does ‘free to print’ mean?
Along with a digital PDF, our zine bundle will include a print-ready PDF that meets all the specifications for printing, should anyone wish to produce a physical copy for themselves. All we ask is that these copies are not sold and redistributed for your own profit.
Will there be digital merch?
If there is enough interest for it, yes. You can share what digital merch you’d like to see in our interest check.
Will the digital merch also be free to print?
If included, it won’t be a requirement, but if the merch artists would like to share print-ready files, they may.
Why does there need to be a limit on writers and word count if this zine won’t have a physical release?
While this zine won’t have to worry about the production costs of a physical zine with a large page count, formatting writing still takes a significant amount of time and as admin, I have to set a limit of what I’m comfortable with doing on top of my other responsibilities.
Can we make pieces about the male characters if they’re transfem/genderbent?
We’d like for this zine to center the female characters and their relationships specifically so we ask that all works be about them. Of course, depicting the existing female characters as transfem is wholly encouraged and more than welcome!
Are AUs allowed?
Yes! Not all works need to be canon compliant.
Why a NSFW zine?
I am a woman who thinks women should be allowed to be horny for other women. ❤️

Artists:
Artists can choose to share their portfolio or link to 3 samples of their work. If using google drive, please make sure link sharing is turned on so the files can be viewed.
Dungeon Meshi fanart is encouraged but not required for your application.
Backgrounds do not have to have complex detail but anything more than a solid color, gradient, sketch lines, etc is preferred.
Sharing NSFW pieces is encouraged, but not required, as long as they follow the rules and are labeled as NSFW, along with any potential content warnings.
Writers:
Writers can choose to share their portfolio (AO3, website, etc) or link to 3 samples of their work. If using google drive, please make sure link sharing is turned on so the files can be viewed.
Dungeon Meshi fanfiction is encouraged but not required for your application.
Writing examples must be below 3k words. Excerpts from longer stories are fine.

Rules
All contributors must be 18+ by the time applications open on October 4. Anyone caught to be lying about their age will be promptly removed.
No AI, tracing, or stolen works whatsoever or you will be disqualified/removed.
All contributors will be required to submit an original piece for the zine. No pieces that have been previously posted elsewhere will be accepted.
No adult/minor ships allowed.
No NSFW of minors allowed.
No excessive violence or gore.
No bigotry or harmful depictions of the characters will be tolerated.
